Family Advocacy has published a briefing paper in response to the NSW
Department of Education and Communities' revised approach to supporting students with special needs who do not meet the criteria for individual funding in mainstream enrolments,
Every Student in Every School: Learning and Support. It explains what is proposed, addresses concerns expressed by teachers and parents, and is critical of some elements.
The new arrangements will supplement the support that students with integration funding already receive.
