Federal Member for Blaxland, Jason Clare MP (Minister for Home Affairs, Minister for Justice, Minister for Defence Materiel) will be hosting a public meeting with the Minister for Disability Reform, Jenny Macklin to discuss the Federal Government's National Disability Insurance Scheme.
"If you care about the future of people living with a disability in our community, I urge you to come along and have your say," Mr Clare said.
"This new scheme will ensure that people living with a disability, their families and carers are provided with the care and support they need.
Mr Duy Quang Nguyen, local resident from Yagoona and Ambassador for Northcott Disability Services (Parramatta) is looking forward to discussing this important scheme at the forum.
"It's great that the Minister is coming to our area to talk about the NDIS and answer questions. I am really looking forward to the meeting."
