In response to the
recent controversy over a disrespectful T shirt designed and sold in South Australia
(now resolved with its withdrawal from sale), a group of advocates has launched a campaign to promote an alternative - 'Respecte for all people, regardless of disability, race, gender, sexuality or age.'
T shirts and caps featuring the word 'Respecte' are for sale online, and purchasers are invited to submit photos of people wearing them in their everyday lives.
