A great day's (and ten years') work ...

Everyone who just watched Michelle Payne win the Melbourne Cup on Prince of Penzance, will also have seen her brother Stevie Payne, the horse's strapper, and Michelle's brother, taking his place as a successful worker, supported by and supporting his family and colleagues. Well done all round.

At the presentation ceremony, Stevie was awarded the Tommy Woodcock Cup for the winning horse's strapper. The photos are all over the media, and the story of his role in the win will be told and retold - you can't buy a campaign like that!
