We were sorry to hear of the death of Cherry Rainsford on 23rd December, after a fall at home. Mrs Rainsford and her son, Andrew, who has Down syndrome, were interviewed for the excellent article published by the Australian Womens Weekly (December 2012 issue), about the experience of raising children with Down syndrome who are now adults in their 40s.Our sympathy is extended to Andrew, his family and Mrs Rainsford's friends.
