Research: new study on longevity

A Danish study published this week in the Nature journal
Genetics in Medicine, January 2013, confirms increasing longevity amongst people with Down syndrome in Denmark. It found that access to heart surgery was highly significant, and that people with mosaic trisomy 21 were likely to live longer than those with 'ordinary' trisomy 21, or with translocation.
